Everyone has to start somewhere...
And plant parents are no different. Whether a person has two plants or 200, each plant parent at one point had very little idea what they were doing. They might have figured it out as they went or they might have killed countless plants before successfully caring for one. Whatever the case, plant care is very much based on trial and error.
Yet there is still some information that might help a beginner plant parent have a smoother transition into the role. Starting out with some foundational knowledge of the basics of plants and knowing which plants are the best for first-timers can take off some of the stress of entering into the world of plant parenting.
