About Me

My name is Sarah Dills and I graduated in May 2023 from Colorado State University. I graduated Cum Laude with a BA in Journalism and Media Communications and a minor in Interdisciplinary Environmental Affairs. During my time at CSU, I improved my skills in communicating visually, learned how to analyze media and audience data, and grew my social media presence.

Since I was very young, I have enjoyed exploring the visual arts, especially photography and videography. I received my first digital camera when I was six years old and I photographed EVERYTHING. When I was 12, I got a video camcorder and enjoyed filming my middle school experiences. In high school, I helped manage and create content for the school's Student Government social media accounts. This is when I discovered my love for communicating through social media.

In the future, I hope to work in media communications for a brand or company, with a focus on content creation and audience analysis. I would love to work in travel or the beauty or fashion industry, specifically for an eco-friendly company. I am very passionate about the importance of sustainability and saving the environment. I hope to be able to educate consumers on the environmental damage of these industries and the positive outcomes of shopping sustainably.

 

Wherever my career leads me, it is important to me that my work makes a positive impact on the communities and environments around me.
